This week all Math classes at Symmes will be working on situational problems where they will be applying the skills learned so far this year in class to a new and exciting problem.
This work must be kept in the classroom and there will therefore be no homework during the course of this week. Students who are behind on work or who have assignments that have not yet been submitted will be given catch up packages to complete at home during this "break week".
Math 100 - Goofy's Getaway
This involves planning at trip to Disney Land including planning how many hours need to be worked at your "part-time job" as well as budgeting and choosing locations to stay, souvenirs to buy and meals while you are there.
Math 212 - Going Global
Secondary II students will be traveling the world this week. From Amsterdam to Sydney there are many stops along the way where small problems need to be resolved before the trip can carry on! Bon voyage! :)
